Today's "Now That's ShActing" clip comes to us from a 1979 made-for-TV disaster pic called Disaster on the Coastliner.  Co-Starring Lloyd Bridges, Raymond Burr and my favorite Latin grammar actor E.G. Marshall, DotC was directed by Richard Sarafian, whose other work includes a TV remake of Splendor in the Grass with Melissa Gilbert and something called Lolly-Madonna XXX.

What is Shatnerpalooza, you ask?  It is a time where we step back and honor the sweetest thing to drip down from Canada since maple syrup.

The good people at Epix are counting down to their debut of The Captains, a documentary about the different men and women who've sat in the center seat for the various incarnations of Star Trek.  It is directed by the ur-Captain himself, William Shatner.

In addition to hosting special events (Comic-Con on the west coast, the freaking deck of the USS Intrepid in NYC!) Epix is asking fans to join The Long Khan.  Yes, friends - you too can upload a video and join B-Shat in a wrath-fueled interplanetary yawp at Ricardo Montalban.
