Why should guys have all the fun? Batgirl joins the ranks of one of the biggest ass kickers in the comics world and Comic-Con is the perfect place to deck oneself out like the female crime fighter.

No matter what you're into, the Batman universe has something for everyone. If bad girls aren't your style, look to the other side of the law and take solace in the crime-fighting beauty of the women of the Bat-team. 99% of the time, they'll be wearing spandex.

Lurking in the shadows of the comic convention hall or behind unattended tables, Batgirl waits for unsuspecting evil-doers to make their move before pouncing on them. This may be why crime among sex-deprived Con-goers has increased over the years.

This Batgirl begs for the danger to come to her, strolling the streets unmasked like its no big thing. I guess someone forgot the whole "city needs a symbol of fear" thing.

Back in the '60s, Yvonne Craig portrayed Batgirl as a fashion-first lady do-gooder in a sparkly, purple jump suit. These days, most cosplayers still turn Batgirl into a fashion icon -- just with far less fabric.
Easier to kick thugs, perhaps?

This isn't to say you won't find a few Oracle cosplays on the convention floor, armed with their superior tech and looking badass in their own right. Perhaps their wheelchair-bound, but anyone doubting their superheroic abilities needs to see Murderball.
