Lurking in the shadows of the comic convention hall or behind unattended tables, Batgirl waits for unsuspecting evil-doers to make their move before pouncing on them. This may be why crime among sex-deprived Con-goers has increased over the years.

This Batgirl begs for the danger to come to her, strolling the streets unmasked like its no big thing. I guess someone forgot the whole "city needs a symbol of fear" thing.

Back in the '60s, Yvonne Craig portrayed Batgirl as a fashion-first lady do-gooder in a sparkly, purple jump suit. These days, most cosplayers still turn Batgirl into a fashion icon -- just with far less fabric.
