Roadkill

Appears In: Twisted Metal, Twisted Metal 2, Twisted Metal III, Twisted Metal: Black, Twisted Metal: Head-On

Who's Behind the Wheel: Captain Spears, Marcus Kane, John Doe

Why It's Awesome: This heaping pile of junk is the underdog of the Twisted Metal competition, going up against tanks and military humvees, despite looking barely functional. Whether it is driven by a crazy homeless man or an amnesiac, it inspires us to persevere against all odds.

Appears In: Twisted Metal, Twisted Metal III, Twisted Metal: Black, Twisted Metal Small Brawl, Twisted Metal: Head-On

Who's Behind the Wheel: Mr. Ash, Jimmy Ash, Dollface

Why It's Awesome: This big rig's slow but powerful approach to the competition gained it a job promotion. Darkside disappeared after the original Twisted Metal only to come back as a boss in Twisted Metal III's Washington D.C stage.

Thumper

Appears In: Twisted Metal, Twisted Metal III, Twisted Metal 4, Twisted Metal: Head-On

Who's Behind the Wheel: Bruce Cochrane, Angel,

Why It's Awesome: First off, it's a pink low rider. Second, it's special move is a sound blast coming from its hooked-up sound system. Can't get more pimped out than that.

Yellow Jacket

Appears In: Twisted Metal, Twisted Metal Black

Who's Behind the Wheel: Charlie Kane, Charlie Kane & Son

Why It's Awesome: It's not very often that you climb into a cab and find yourself at the mercy of a reanimated, bullet-riden driver. However, there are times when that would be a preference.

Crimson Fury

Appears In: Twisted Metal, Twisted Metal: Small Brawl, Twisted Metal: Head-On

Who's Behind the Wheel: Agent Stone

Why It's Awesome: Its name sounds like an 80's hair metal band (Crimson Fury could have easily been White Snake's opening act). Besides that, driving around as a red Lamborghini Diablo never gets old.
