These jerks need to go down, but I can't do it alone. On the other hand, some of these so-called "soldiers" may not be performing to the best of their abilities. The Reapers are an unrelenting force of death and destruction. I need the best of the best on my team. Don't waste your time trying to recruit people for your Mass Effect 3 squad member wishlist. Liara T'Soni

Liara is, by far, one of the most useful squad members Mass Effect 3 has to offer. With a complete biotic skill set, Liara is a powerful ally against armored, shielded and barriered foes alike. Dr. T'Soni can use Singularity, Warp, Stasis and Warp Ammo, all of which decimate all types of foes. Warp Ammo and Warp are powerful against armored or barriered enemies and Stasis stops foes dead in their tracks. Her most useful power, however, is Singularity, which makes foes float and dangle in vortex of dark energy.

Just don't ask her if her "hair tentacles" move.

Javik

Mass Effect 3's best squad member turns out to be the day one DLC BioWare announced. Javik, the Prothean who has been in stasis for 50,000 years, has some of the best squad member powers the franchise has seen yet. Pull and Slam can be used to toss enemies around like play things, while Dark Channel eats away at an enemies health before transferring to the next. Lastly, Javik's Lift Grenade serves as an alternative to Liara's Singularity, dangling enemies in the air helplessly. Picking up Mass Effect 3's "From Ashes" DLC is worth it to get this valuable squad member.
