EDI's new body allows her to not only tag along during missions, but hold her own against all types of enemies. EDI can use Incinerate against armored foes and Overload against enemies with shields or barriers. When in danger, EDI has access to the useful Decoy power, which sends off a replica to confuse and distract enemies. A powerful tool during intense battles and flanking enemies. Plus, her new body has some extra... padding... in case she walks into any walls.

Tali'Zorah vas Normandy returns and brings all of her Engineer prowess with her. In addition to Sabotage, which allows Tali to reprogram synthetics and machinery to fight on your side, Tali has a few new tricks up her environmental suit's sleeves. Tali can deploy Combat and Defense Drones to aid in battle, adding additional firepower or defenses to your squad. Her greatest strength, however, lies in her Energy Drain ability, which allows her to drain enemies of their shields and barriers and add them to her own. Whatever is under that suit, me likey.

Garrus brings the best of Ashley and Kaidan together and adds in a few twists of his own. He can use Overload to dispose of enemy shields and barriers, but Garrus also has Armor-Piercing Ammo and Concussive Shot to deal with armored foes. Lastly, Garrus can deploy Proximity Mines into the middle of large groups of enemies to damage them. If you want anyone by your side during the final battle, it's Archangel himself.
