After dealing with the nuisance on Mars, Liara joins up with the Normandy crew and brings all her new Shadow Broker equipment along with her. Dating the number one source of all information in the galaxy has a few benefits. If a relationship was already established in the other titles, Liara will ask Shepard where they stand, giving Shepard the opportunity to rekindle the relationship. For new players, after a few reassuring words before and after missions, Liara will eventually ask to be invited up to the Captain's Quarters to show you a project she's been working on.
Keep up with your sweet talking and Liara will ask to meet you on the Citadel, where she'll ask if you're ready to commit to one blue female. If you see blue babies in your future, tell her yes. If not, tell her to get her creepy head tentacles the hell out of here.
