An advanced exploration of the bewildering yet formative history of the relationship of science and Christianity in history, including case studies of developments and ideas of enduring significance. This course focuses on the judicious interpretation and use of primary sources, accenting the importance of layered historical contexts for the responsible investigation of specific questions in science and Christian theology.

Held on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-9 pm, Sept. 14-Nov. 23, 2016, on site at Greystone Theological Institute in Coraopolis, PA (west side of Pittsburgh). Audio files of lectures will be available for registered students who cannot be present.
