Greystone Conversations

The Wisdom Trees by Alejandro Corral”

Conversations is a series of audio and/or video interviews with seasoned pastors, elders, and teachers in Reformed churches about how their ministry has shaped their theological development, and how their theological development has in turn shaped their ministry. In particular, the Conversations series explores a phenomenon of long-term or intensive ministerial life, namely, that ministerial experiences often provoke fresh reflection on particular topics in Scripture and theology, resulting in new priorities, fresh concerns, or refined and sometimes changed views. In short, seasoned teachers, church officers, and servants often have wisdom to impart regarding the differences between their thinking at the beginning and at the mid-point or twilight of their ministry, and Conversations is designed to make this wisdom widely available. As an opportunity for elder church officers, teachers, and servants to serve younger ones, and for church servants to help each other, Conversations collects reflections on areas where, forced by pastoral realities and experiences, the ministry has shaped one’s views on a wide range of practical, biblical, and theological questions.
