Once the primer is dry you can paint the pool with topcoat epoxy or resurfacing solutions. Following the manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations, paint from the deepest to the shallowest. Allow the topcoat to dry completely before you apply the next coat. Sand the pool between coats to ensure proper adhesion. Most pools will require between three and four coats. It can take several hours depending on the climate.
