Post Where Do You Go To Get Things Fixed In Home?

I have a good friend in Home named Jujutsuka7. He is a very nice man of 65 years in my club the Grey Gamers. He loves his log cabin which he bought quite awhile ago, but he can't go there. Every time he does it locks his whole PS3 system up and he has to reboot. He has sent numerous emails, and called Sony but to no avail. They haven't even responded to his emails. He has also sent messages to GlassWalls and not received any help at all. So this is the question I want to pose to you, what should he do now? He has already deleted Home and reinstalled 2 times and that didn't work. Maybe some of you have a suggestion.

Curious. Has he tried deleting the file that pertains to the cabin?
Probably a dumb question :P

Again, this is where that 'Buddy' System or Welcome center could step in, a representative of Home or somebody with the inner workings and understanding of Home, why not have a technical team you can call 'Inworld'? or at least have some access to them.

Actually Nos it was a great suggestion. I also got that idea from a friend and when he did this it fixed his problem. See? Look what can be accomplished with this forum, now we just have to get more ppl to sign up. I think this is a thread that should continue for pl that are having problems to post so we can help them since Sony hasnt kept up.

sometimes is just an item in the appart which "bug" it, somes items are fixed, but not at all!
sad to see how is hard to have issue for customers sometimes!

I know this thread has been inactive a while, but I'm hoping someone still checks in on it every so often.

I'm constantly having, what seems to be, random lock-ups within HOME (NA). As I'm typing this, my system is locked up trying to access the store kiosk in Central Plaza. It doesn't happen during any particular action I'm performing, nor in any particular place. It used to be just simply annoying, but here lately, it's become maddening (almost).

Also, HOME seems to take an agonizingly long time to load. Any suggestions?

Ummm... yeah, so... After I posted, I followed one of the suggestions already listed (deleting HOME and reinstalling), and apparently that took care of the agonizing load time. I'll post again if it solves the random lockups as well.

Alright, load time is amazing now (compared to what it was), but I did have a few unexpected network drops and a hard freeze. I'll keep tinkering with it, posting my results here and feeling like I'm talking to myself. lol

It's good that you're using this thread as a sort of "note-taking" for your experiences. You could be unknowingly helping someone out who will experience the very same things in the future.
