I went to this place for the 1st time last night and while I think it's one of the best looking public spaces on Home because of the vibrant colors and nice view of outer space I'm a little confused.Normally,at least in any casino I've been to irl, there are a variety of games to play,Ooblag's seems to only have 1 with a higher stakes version for ppl over a certain credit limit. The game it does have is "Craps" slightly tweaked,I enjoy the game well enough but honestly irl casinos it's 1 of the games that doesn't get as much traffic, probably a few different reasons for that which don't need to be listed for this discussion,so my question is this:Does anyone know if Ooblags will be expanded in the future by adding more games?

Good question cthulu I was wondering that myself. I was actually surprised and a bit disappointed by the space. Though visually stunning, it lacks the ability to choose what game to play. What if you don't like craps? I for one liked the fact they gave us a free machine to use in our personal spaces, that was cool. But the game isn't all that appealing to me really. I doubt I will frequent the space.

My hope Burbie is that more games will be added in the future. From what I've seen Irl casinos is that slot machines,Blackjack, and Texas Hold'em poker are the most popular games.Even Roulette seems to have more traffic than craps so if only 1 game is going to be in this casino I have to question why craps was picked over the other seemingly more popular games.I enjoy craps but then I've spent some time in casinos and know the game somewhat, craps takes more time to learn than most casino games so it scares some ppl off.It doesn't have the simplicity of slot machines and winning is based more on luck than strategy, unlike Blackjack and Poker, although there is some strategy when it comes to how much and where to bet once you roll the dice the outcome is in lady lucks hands.Once you have the table there really isn't much reason to go back to the public space so unless other games are added I'll probably be joining you in staying away from it,if I need a craps"fix" I'll just use the table at my clubhouse.

They could at least throw some slot machines and blackjack in there (not withstanding the fact that I'd like to be able to actually type with people while I'm playing the stupid game).

I have tried talking to other people at the Ooblag's Casino tables while playing but, unless it is someone I already know, most of the other players are not very social. It's rather sad because the glue that held the EA poker rooms together was the table banter, the jokes, and the easy camaraderie.

It's really not a game that many of us socialites like to play. It's really random and based on luck. There isn't any real skill involved from what I can tell.

Just not my cup of tea personally. I'll take the EA Sports Complex anyday. That was such a social scene.

Part of that problem granny is the short time you have to make your bets, remember how long we had between bets on poker?especially when it was a full table. You had time to make a sandwhich,go to the bathroom, walk the dog and still have plenty of time to look over your cards.(I'm kidding it wasn't that long really but you get the point.)So ppl had 2 options, sit there like a bump on a log and say nothing which was rather boring or players could talk to 1 another to pass the time. This simple aspect of that game was what made it great,as long as you got a table of talkers.Having it populated with some of the most colorful and funny ppl on Home didn't hurt either. It was great practice for meeting new ppl on Home and many ppl I met there are still my friends today,it was just a genuinely good space with an above average amount of genuinely funny or interesting ppl. They don't make 'em like that anymore granny, they just don't make 'em like that 1 anymore.
