So we will have to see what other benefits or rewards we will get. I would love free stuff within Home. Like outfits and personal spaces etc. So lets keep our toes and fingers crossed guys.

I completely see the idea of giving out free Playstation Plus. They are obviously doing it to give people an incentive for buying games off of the Playstation Store since Plus Members are entitled to discounts off of certain titles. Also, as we all know, they will need this to make up for the loss of revenue and to compensate for the price of the extra security measures that have been put into place. Then again, come to think of it, it would make more sense to package the Free Month of Playstation Plus with any other option that the user may choose. 1 Free Game or Free Playstation Home items plus the subscripton sounds fair I guess as it will help out both the customer and Sony. So, let me rephrase that:

"As a token of gratitude for being a loyal and patient PSN customer, please choose one free gift:

- Free Playstation Plus Subscription for 1 Month

and

- One free $5.99 PSOne Classics Title of your choice

or

- Free Playstation Home Items"

Well truth be told, that I dont care for the EA Poker room.. I was there from time to time thou. Yes it was a famous place to hang out or so i heard in the other forums. If it hasnt come back yet, then i doubt that it will come back again.

I do understand ur sincere and utter frustration about it. Its like my life sometimes. I go grocery shopping and they got this new food item that I just love. I buy it all the time and one day its gone for good...I dont bitch or cry over it.

Yes its sad to know its gone, but it can be replaced by something new right. One door closes and another one opens. So wit the new security being created by Sony for PSN and Home..God knows what might come back.

So keep believing and keep praying.. I just keep hitting my head against a wall. Cuz I am so sick of hearing about the dayum poker room already....Still some dislike it and some are missing it. I totally understand that....but there comes a time when you just got to let it go......

Seriously, be glad its not a real life playing poker addiction....Now that would suck...hehe...Be happys its a virtual game....:)

WOO HOO!!! omg, i have so many ps one and ps two games. i find it annoying to have to pay for a game i already have to play it on my ps3. i can see them wanting to make money, but if they pondered it, how easy is it to find ps2 let alone ps1 games besides expensive online companies. their loyal fans have already helped get them where they are by buying games like resident evil for the psone, and may still have it. they've done their duty, now own up. if someone new wants an old game, they for the most part will get it on ps store. if i dont have it, i would buy it there too! yes it IS all about making money, but just remember the people that got you there. THERES MILLION'S OF US, BABY!! WOO HOO!!!

Well sadly corporations usually worry more about the money they will make in the future,not saying this is unimportant but shouldn't make them forget about the ppl that already spent money on ps2 and ps1 games.I think that even if they offered backward compatibility for a price many ppl would be appreciative.

i'd accept that too!! damn straight i would buy it if they had it as a payable download. this way they get money, and i get to frolic threw my old games. plus they could do add ons, like a download for saving on the old games as well. oooo, drool.

And would it be a slap in the face to you if they said they didn't want you to say anymore about it because they didn't give a dayum? Or would you ask if, since a whole list of possible options was being posted in this thread, if returning that feature could be one of the options?
