So, you are hanging out at the car races, and looking incredibly, well, racy!
Here is one of the new Sodium 2 fashion creations as it looks when worn as it was originally intended. But why stop there?

Let's have fun taking this apart and making something new and startling.
So, the easy one is the top with the draped scarf. Fortunately, Outso seems to use the same color values and tones in their fashion creations, so the easiest pieces to match to one outfit is a piece from another one by the same designer. Hence, I looked in the wardrobe for that cute skirt they came out with about a year ago - and yay - new combo!

Then I had to find something that would really sizzle with those red lace up "highest high-tops in history."
This one was easy; there are so many great tops, from solid black and solid red to jacket/bustier tops, halters, and tube tops that work with this bottom. The biggest decision was which one was the favorite to feature in this article.
After hours in the wardrobe and dozens of pics, I finally settled on this one:
The black on black jacket/bustier top with the 'gangsta' hat to set the tone.

I would not risk my life walking into Godfather's wearing this, but it was a lot of fun at Sodium 2 watching various males start to approach me and then back away silently.
As you can imagine, the black leather tops also go incredibly well and make some fantastic looking costumes combined with this. Unfortunately, the editor wants more words than pictures so you will just have to take my word for it.
The other main point is don't skip the headgear. The perfect hat or hairstyle can really make an outfit memorable. And there are so many to choose from now, that putting one of these outfits with default hair is just plain lazy.
And, if you are doing fashion pics, get away from the pre-set poses and try using dance moves, gestures, and props to make the picture more interesting. If I see that phony 'model' pose one more time, I will barf all over my PS3. Let's use some imagination to show off the really good stuff we can find to wear in here.
I then moved on to the next challenge: the hard-core racer girl look.

Wow, the designer who made this one has spent far too much time at European car races. This outfit would make the Indy 500 drivers so distracted, if Danica Patrick was wearing this, she would win every time.
Now this is what it means to be built for speed instead of comfort.
No man in his right mind is going to try to mess with a chick who looks this 'in control'. She would bite his lugnuts off and slash his wheels.
Seriously, though, can you imagine wearing this into CP and watching the little teenage boys swoon with pixel envy. This outfit takes some serious chops to wear.
Breaking it down into pieces and remaking it into other costumes took some thinking and a lot of experimentation. The top was fairly easy, because it can go with almost all the shorts in Home and a lot of the jeans. Try it with a bikini bottom, if you dare!
So here's one look with that top: the little plaid skirt with the matching colors, the green face guard and some space boots. It's guaranteed to have people stopping you to ask, "Where did you buy that?"

I tried so many different combos it was impossible to pick just one favorite, so I put in another one also. This time, I used that top with the original green face guard and hair from the other Sodium 2 outfit, plus black cropped jeans and the space boots.
Finally, three people got the courage to approach and ask, "Where did you get that?"
All girls, of course.
It's great to wear an outfit that makes you feel empowered and fearless, as well as sexy as hell. That's what Home needs more of, frankly; "feel-good" outfits that don't have high perv attraction built in.
I would wear this one anywhere in Home - except maybe to a formal event - and feel like Wonder Woman. Shazam!
The bottom half of this uniform presented a bit more of a challenge. How to look like all the pieces go together ....hmmmm.... back to the wardrobe and a lot more changing and rearranging and trying out props, hats, gloves, weapons, and so on.
I finally settled on this one (right) because the colors - gray and green - worked so well together, and it conveyed the kind of 'attitude' I feel when wearing it.

Actually, almost any fitted black top looks sensational with these pants and - although I used driving gloves for the effect - the costume gloves worked well, also.
Decisions, decisions, decisions - that's what stuffing the wardrobe with goodies to pick from is all about, though.
And also considering, "am I dressing to impress other women?"
Or, "am I wearing something that just makes me feel good about me?"
Or "Do I want to wear this to CP and watch the pervs make fools of themselves today?"
Or (best of all) "Do I want to put this on and then tell my husband to come take a look at the screen?"
Hey, fantasies are what we are all about, right, ladies?
Finally, although the new 'wings' are in the same Sodum 2 update, I am not sure they are meant to go with the Sodium 2 outfits. But, it was worth a try.
This outfit is all Sodium 2 except for the default black shorts. Actually, mechanized wings look better with this kind of 'rough and ready' outfit than with a formal gown or dress.

You can sort of picture this gal blasting off into space in this gear.
"Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's DarthGranny?"
That's just so wrong in so many ways.
Oh well, in my dreams, folks. In my dreams.
