Post A brief note on HSM forum etiquette.

HomeStation Magazine hopes that this forum is used for fun, vibrant discussions about Home and Sony gaming in general. To help foster such an environment, a few tidbits:

1. We don't mind spirited debate (heck, we *foster* it with the magazine), but no personal attacks. HSM is a mature and literate publication, and we hope everyone conducts themselves as sensible adults.

2. HSM is a Home-positive and Sony-positive publication. For as much as we may be critical at times, keep in mind that we support Home, Sony, and its employees. If you're looking for a new HomeWatch, go elsewhere.

3. This isn't a democracy. HSM has the right to edit or remove at any time, without prior notice, any posts which the HSM team in its sole discretion determines to be obscene, defamatory, libelous, or otherwise against a reasonable-person standard of good taste.

4. Think we've forgotten something? Just cut and paste the official Sony message forum's terms of usage onto HSM's forum (minus the bits about not being able to talk about other regional Homes). And use common sense.

From all of us at the HSM team, thank you for reading our magazine and participating in these discussions!

"use common sense"

Take this, frame it, put it into a plaque, scream it on top of a mountain.

This should be your golden rule.

Is there a report a post feature? If so I don't see it other than the contact us at the top of the forum page.

While there's no "report a post" feature at present, I'm always open to receiving communiqué about posts which are potentially offensive or otherwise inappropriate.

I might suggest that feature to Cubes, though.

In the footer of the forums: Mingle Forum by cartpauj - the person who wrote the forum software.

I would love to give you a much better forum, but there are far too many people using the awful PS3 browser that just doesn't work with decent forums.
