It is possible to authorize a user group for a plant only. This will not automatically authorize the user to see MRP areas or trading partners associated with the plant. 

To authorize a plant for a user group: 

1. Using the Advanced menu, click System Admin > User Management > User Plant Authorization. 
2. Select the User Group from the Select User drop down list. 
3. All existing authorizations are currently visible in the Existing Authorizations table on the left. 
4. Search for the plant to authorize from the Potential Authorization table on the right.  

• Search by plant name or by plant code. 

5. Select each plant to authorize. 

• Once authorized, the plant will be moved from the Potential Authorizations to the Existing Authorizations table. 

6. Next, we need to replicate the user group that was just updated.
