User Item Group Authorization

The User Item Group Authorization session is used to grant access to items that are associated with specific item groups.

Purpose

Find Missing Item Groups

Imports any new item groups not currently populated in the potential authorizations table. 


To authorize an item group for a user group: 


  1. Using the Advanced menu, click System Admin > User Management > User Item Group Authorization. 
  2. Select the User Group from the Select User drop down list. 
  3. All existing authorizations are currently visible in the Existing Authorizations table on the left. 
  4. Search for the item group to authorize from the Potential Authorization table on the right.  
  5. Click Add for each item group to authorize.
  1. Next, we need to replicate the user group that was just updated.
