A sequenced delivery record must be defined for all items that will be picked, packed and sequenced to a production line.

To create a sequenced delivery record:

 

1. Access Sequenced Deliveries.
2. Click Add.  The Sequenced Delivery Details session will appear.
3. Select the Plant. 
4. Select the Broadcast Position. 
5. Select the Ship-To MRP Area. 
6. Select the Ship-From MRP Area. 
7. Enter the Orders Per Container.

• Determine the number of units' parts that can be transported in the sequenced rack.  

8. Click Add Containers.

• This selects the sequenced rack to deliver the items for this broadcast position.

9. Enter the Pick Minutes. 
10. Enter the Pack Minutes. 
11. Enter the Outbound Staging Minutes. 
12. Select the External Route (if applicable). 
13. Enter the Inbound Staging Minutes.
14. Select the Sequence Container.

• This is the sequence container packaging type. This will allow the user to update all assigned sequenced racks to a new packaging type if required. 

15.  Select the Production Line.
16. Select the Linefeed 
17. Enter the Rack Sequence Number. 

• If no rack sequence number is specified, the system will begin with "1". 

18. Click Update Containers and Item MRP Areas.

• This will update the related container and Item MRP Area records throughout the system. 

19. Click Create.
