Presenters: Corey Silverman and Horace Marlowe, C&H Glassworks Summary: For the Section’s annual Ladies’ Night meeting in February, Silverman and Marlowe presentated various glassblowing techniques and discussed its similarities to welding (material preparation, working of the medium, and postheat treatment for decorative and architectural blown glass). Several attendees were then invited to learn glassblowing hands-on after the presentation. COLORADO — Demonstration of the initial shaping technique of heated glass for the Section’s annual Ladies’ Night at C&H Glassworks.
