Demo Song : Driving Miss Daisy
Written, Composed and Performed by : Frank Farra
I don't wanna be a star
Don't wanna be a country star
I get car sick in the car
And being away from home - boy that's too far
Really deep-down I'm kinda shy
I'm not that stand up partying guy
I hate the thought of being in crowds
And my ears hurt when the music's too loud
And all those girls would drive me crazy!
I might end up driving Miss Daisy
It ain't me - it ain't my show
Not a chance - The answer is no
It ain't me - it ain't my show
The answer is No, No, No,
I'd have to change out of my old clothes
And for the poparazzi - I'd have to pose
And dressing real fancy and powder my nose
All that get-up from my head to toes
And all those girls would drive me crazy!
I might end up driving Miss Daisy
It ain't me - it ain't my show
Not a chance - The answer is no
It ain't me - it ain't my show
The answer is No. No. No.
Yeah!
It just sounds like more work to me
I don't care what the pay would be
I just wanna be free
I'm happy as a wanna-be
I don't like eating-out for dinner
I'd much rather have my grub at home
Yeah, the beeners and the weeners - on the fire
The maters and the taters - in my new fryer
And giving autographs - I'd get writers cramp
There's no place like home - here at the happy camp
It ain't me - it ain't my show
Not a chance - The answer is no
It ain't me - it ain't my show
The answer is No, No, No,
It ain't me - it ain't my show
Not a chance - The answer is no
It ain't me - it ain't my show
The answer is No, No, No, ... No!
Don't wanna be a star.

Cool!
Yes! We Love to Rock-n-Roll! When we get together, we can experiment! In the Lab, just like cooking. I've discovered lots of cool parts of songs by mistake (or when something came to fruition that wasn't intended). Some of the best talents I've seen - were those with not much actual hands-on experience. I'm also working on folk, metal, hip-hop, pop and soul projects! Don't be shy. Why not join us! Thanks!

The song: "The Answer is No!" by Frank Farra from the album "Moms Guitar." Every line of this song reflects the authors true feelings about not wanting to be in the SpotLight. Except for the line "All those girls would drive me crazy ..." which is the only part of the song that is not true, since "All those girls could never drive me crazy ..." He said : "At the time of writing this song, I was living in a remote wooded area in an old camper. I was a total recluse at the time and wouldn't of changed things - even for fortune and/or fame. Cooking on my Single Burner Outdoor Stove Propane Gas Cooker was a daily routine." ...The part about the dogs, beans, potatoes and tomatoes was dinner almost every night and day." The car peeling out sounds (in the song) was my 68 Mustang that I've recently sold. While living as a recluse, I got bit by a recluse spider & I got proof pics.
