Demo Song : 7). Bluer Than Blue / Moms Guitar
Written, Composed and Performed by : Frank Farra
I'm as guilty as the sky is blue
For not Loving you, the way you wanted me to
And I'm sorry - if I didn't seem to care
And I do apologize, for not playing fair
Some funny things our heart will do
When we're bluer than blue
What was I to do, when I was so down
I know I didn't come around
My life was so unwound
But then you looked and I was found
I got my feet on the ground
I'm as happy as the pumpkin in pie
That you're giving me another chance
And you're willing to try
Your Love is unconditional
I guess it's do or die
And I'm as greatful as the rock in a chair
For your empathy and all the words that you shared
And I thank you - for doing it all that you do
And I do appreciate your point of view
Some funny things our heart will do
When we're bluer than blue
Now that times have changed
I'll be truer than true
And on that special day
We'll be saying I do
And when I ask for your hand
Will you say I do too?
When I'm as guilty as the sky is blue
For not Loving you, the way you wanted me to
And I'm sorry - if I didn't seem to care
And I do apologize, for not playing fair
Some funny things our heart will do
When we're bluer than blue
Yeah

Cool!
Yes! We Love to Rock-n-Roll! When we get together, we can experiment! In the Lab, just like cooking. I've discovered lots of cool parts of songs by mistake (or when something came to fruition that wasn't intended). Some of the best talents I've seen - were those with not much actual hands-on experience.
I'm also working on folk, metal, hip-hop, pop and soul projects! Don't be shy. Why not join us! Thanks!

BluerThanBlue
One of Frank's favorite early songs : from the album Moms Guitar, is based on a true story.
It's his only recorded song where he didn't get a chance to record the vocal in the studio on the day the music was made - since his studio-time was up at 4:30pm.
Frank says: "For some reason, the Lead Musician (Studio Owner) wouldn't part with 10 more minutes, or one quick vocal-take, like he always allowed on all of the other 6 previous songs."
Frank: "At the time, I was living in a vintage Spartan Camper in the woods / jungle of North Central Florida. When I got back home with the wave (.wav) files, I was sad that I didn't get to "top-it-off" with a quick vocal-take, since it was written just 3 days before."
Frank: "Since I knew nearly nothing about audio, I did have Audacity Software on my Laptop. Using a cheap old black-plastic microphone plugged into the side of my old Toshiba, I recorded BluerThanBlue, during a warm winter night, just before sunset."
"The mic was made for a Radio Shack/Realistic type tape recorder. I saved it as an .mp3 file. Just a cheap plastic mic. No headphones or anything pro. And there you have it."
Let's re-record it with a new face or two! And *not me* on vocals. Anyone?
