All the news from easyJet this month...
You’re on easyJet’s Graduate programme –
what does that involve?
“The programme is open to recent university
graduates who are willing to take on the challenge
of joining a pan-European airline. We have graduates
from all over Europe. The programme provides
great opportunities to work in different parts
of the business. It helps us to gain a thorough
understanding of how the airline works and provides
key development for future leadership.”
How are you enjoying the placement with the
in-flight team?
“It’s been really interesting. I hadn’t previously
realised just how complex the process is to get all
of our products up to 35,000ft.”
Tell us about being a Customer Champion.
“My job is to help promote the new Customer
Charter and ensure my team always have our
customers at the forefront of our minds. We aim to
think about things from their point of view to make
travel both easier and more affordable.”
How do you expect the new Customer Charter
to benefit easyJet customers?
“The Charter benefits our customers as it lets
them know exactly what to expect when flying with
easyJet. The Flight Tracker is a great example of this.
It gives open and up-front information on the status
of your flight live from easyJet. We have fantastic on-
time performance at easyJet, but if there is a delay,
we’ll keep you up to date.”
How do you think it’s going?
“The feedback has been great, from customers,
crew and colleagues in the office. Our five
promises resonate well with everyone. They
are continuing
to form part of our language and
culture, which can only be a good thing.”
