"Underdog"
fromWalt Disney Pictures in association with Spyglass Entertainment is an all new re-imagination of the
classic cartoon utilizing state of the art CGI special effects mixed with live-action. Directed by Frederik Du Chau, it stars
Jim Belushi, Peter Dinklage, Alex Neuberger and Taylor Momsen with Amy Adams. Jason Lee is the voice of Underdog,
the superhero canine with a gift for rhyme as in
"There's no need to fear. Underdog is here!"
After an accident in the mysterious lab of maniacal scientist Dr. Simon Barsinister, played by Peter Dinklage, an
ordinary beagle unexpectedly finds himself with unimaginable powers and the ability to speak. Armed with a fetching
superhero costume, Underdog vows to protect the beleaguered citizens of Capitol City and, in particular, one beautiful
spaniel named Polly Purebread, voiced by Amy Adams. When a sinister plot by Dr. Barsinister and his overgrown
henchman Cad, played by PatrickWarburton, threatens to destroy Capitol City only Underdog can save the day.
