Please ensure that the scoresheets are filled out completely. If numbers for your players are incorrect on the website, please inform Isaac at isaac@ice604.com. Stats are filled out based on player number - if your player is wearing a different number and it is not indicated on the scoresheet, that player will have incorrect stats and more importantly, they will have 1 less game played. This will have ramifications for the playoffs as it was decided at the captain's meeting that any player needs to play a minimum of six games to be eligible.
To indicate that a player is wearing a different number, please have their regular number in the number box on the scoresheet and the number they are wearing that game in brackets beside their name. This will ensure that the player is recorded as having played that game and that their stats will be correct.
Ex. if Wayne Gretzky was wearing #8 just for this game, on the scoresheet we should see:

Once the scoresheet has been entered online, the only changes that will be accepted are corrections to scoring summaries or penalties. Please make sure that your players are on the scoresheet. As well, any team caught filling in names of players who are not playing, or playing with "ringers" (whether they are good or not), will be subject to having no playoffs come the end of the season. Please do not cheat - it is a poor reflection on yourself as well as your team.
Captains (esp new teams) please send me your team's logo. The site will be updated (photos, stats, media) once the regular season is underway.
Unfortunately the league is full for the upcoming Winter 2006-07 season.

July 5th
Captains please choose 4 players (that can attend the game) to send to the all-star game on July 23rd. The league will pick the goalies. Please have the selection in by July 16th. Larry's Sports has donated $50 gift certificate for each All-Star MVP. There will be six game, one for each tier. It should be another fan-filled game.
Picture gallery (note if you are not using Internet Explorer, you may have troubles with the photo gallery link) and PowerRankings are updated.
The promo with 8 rinks for a hat-trick or a shutout has been put on hold. I've been told that some teams were abusing the promo and not ordering any food or drink when they use the scoresheet. The league and the Thirsty penguin are in the process of working out a different promotion.
ICE604 is pleased to announce that there will be 6 all-star game, one for each tier instead of the 3. These games will be played on Blue A (Canuck ICE). There will also be a skillz competition (TBA). Unfortunately 8rinks won't allow for a BBQ in their parking lots. All-star selections will be made by the refs, league manager and the commissioner. Any players with high PIM will not be considered.
Please note that will be a $10 admin + $25 insurance fee ($35) for any change to roster from now on. The roster changes must be approved by the commissioner Herb Lee and fees paid before changes can made.
There is a new photo page, (Note give it time to load up. On the top left hand side, a thumbnail option is available. Photo will be update every 2-3 weeks with the best pics during that time period. Team pages are up (work in progress). We will be sending photos to the captain to identify the players.

May 14th - Scoresheets
Wow, so far so good. By the looks of it, there may be a couple of moves in tiering, but that should make for a more competitive season right?
A note to all team captains, can you please make an effort to correctly fill out the scoresheets? There are a couple of teams that are not filling out the players in numerical order - doing so will facilitate statskeeping. Also remember to fill out the scoresheet properly for players who aren't wearing the number they have online. Starting tomorrow (Monday) we will be updating stats by looking at number only - so make sure the numbers and names match up or the stats will be incorrect. Thanks to all the teams who have been completing the scoresheets properly.
1 month schedule and statskeeping
The schedule for the month of May is up. We apologize for not having it up yesterday as promised. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the schedule and the icetimes that were available, we may or may not have been able to accomodate everybody's preferences.
Close attention will be paid to the first few games of each team, as possible re-tiering will occur if imbalances are severe. Once the tiers have truly been finalized the rest of the schedule will come out.
Also, an important note on statskeeping: Please have the correct player number on the statsheets, especially if the number the player is wearing is different from the one on the online roster. To indicate that it is different, write the true player number in the box, and the temp. number in brackets beside their name.

If the numbers for the scoring summaries do not match up with anyone on the scoresheet, or you have failed to indicate that the player is wearing a different number from the online roster, the points will be incorrectly rewarded or not input at all. For any number changes please email isaac@ice604.com
Remember, if you want accurate stats, you need to make an effort to make sure that everything is correct. So let the scorekeepers know if you find a mistake on your scoresheet. I will only accept corrections via email from teams that have played the last game at any rink, as the scorekeepers tend to leave immediately after the last game. Otherwise no corrections will be made throughout this season so please fill out the scoresheets correctly (instructions are found below).
Preseason Notes
From the first slate of games that I saw from Sat to Sunday, projected tiers (side teampgs - right bottom) . Vader has joined T5 and will play TDR on May 6th. This season is looking good guys, very clean and competitive.
The schedule is now on Statscore (in menu bar).
Captains, only send the excel registration form COMPLETELY filled out. Don't worry about the CARHA form that I sent as the excel sheet from covers the same info. If you have players that are under of 18 please fill out a underage waiver form. Please note that player under 18 are NOT covered in the league insurance policy.
Rosters sent into isaac@ice604.com asap, otherwise there will be no stats kept for your team and possibily no insurance coverage.
Team colors have been posted up. Vistiing (Away) teams need to change colors if there is a conflict. Please note that preseason is for tiering purposes. If you have a better team 40X40 pixel logo that you would like me to replace, please email me at herb@ice604.com (CHI, YG, XMN, GRF, HUN, GOO, HOD, DOG, LFO?)
Captains Meeting Update
Please review modified league rules. Major changes include
- Blue line icing in Tiers 2 and Lower. Tier One will be red line icing.
- Teams that use player not on roster will not play playoff games
- Rule changes incl: 3rd team bodychecking penalty will result in a major. Crease Rule.

ICE604 has a great deal with Larry's Sports for $35/jersey. Your team can pick any jersey desgin (note some styles are not displayed and can be requested ie vancouver's 3rd jersey) by Athletic Knit. Jerseys also include the ICE604 logo and number sewn on the jersey. The jersey are very good quality and are a bargain as the normal price would be $60. [see more details]

Commissioner's Corner
Who will win it all? If I had to vote on the Polls......Div A: VIP and Div B: CMT. VIP have too much firepower along with a rock solid D, the only team that I see knocking them off is DIL or WHA. With the CMT, they have the best team chemistry in the league. Stay tuned to round by round predictions.
New Website, more Media and more updates!!
Thanks to Dre-Designs, the ICE604 has a new website for the 2006 season. This season the league will have access to the internet at the rinks, this means more media and more frequent updates to the site. 2006 Spring Season Info
The start of the season is scheduled for Friday April 15th. For the preseason, there will be Sunday slots due to the lack of icetime in the month of April.
Due to the growth of the ICE604, along with the renovation of Gold B and ASHL shifting their games from Fri to Wed the 2006 ICE604 schedule will see a breakdown of game times: Mon-Thurs 60%, Fri 20% and Sat 20%. Some Preseason games, Free Pickup, Lessons and Stick and Puck will be on Sundays. Majority (90%) will be primetime slots (6:30-9:45pm) with a 10% starting after 10pm.
There will be a limit on teams to 48. It will be a first pay basis (full balance) and I will NOT be holding spots due to the amount of interest this season (49 teams). Here is the list of teams that are interested and have put down a deposit. The preseason schedule will be out in Mid March.
