These machines are built for the multiple shift and seven-day-per-week operations. Built with the heaviest production requirements in mind to allow you to meet your large production needs whether it be deburring, slag grinding, edge radiusing, paint/surface preparation, finishing/polishing or a combination of these applications.
The FC 10 Automatic Collator is one of the most versatile collators on the market today. Reliable and easy to use, it interfaces with a variety of bookletmakers including the Gulf States Saw & Machinery Co., Inc. Sprints and SF2 series.
When searching for the right dry metal machine for your application, Gulf States Saw & Machinery Co., Inc. offers some of the most reliable equipment. We provide our customers with a range of dry metal machines to increase the efficiency, dependability, and safety of metalworking applications.
No matter how many steps are involved in your process each step must take place separately. Also, polishing and deburring cannot be done at the same time. Instead, polish first and deburr second. If more steps are required, they must be done in ascending order. Polishing and deburring should be done first.
Are you looking for high-quality dry metal machines? Gulf States Saw & Machinery Co., Inc. has the best designs. We'll help find the right solution for you, depending on your specific requirements. We offer dry metal machines as well as a variety of wet machines, wood machines and wet dust collectors. Each machine is built from scratch based on the unique requirements of our customers, no matter how specific or demanding they may be.
Centrifugal barrel tumblers, a special type of barrel tumbler, adds to barrel tumbling's effects by using centrifugal force.
A polishing device smooths the rough surfaces of products, improving their aesthetic and technical appeal...
Top/bottom machine processes the top and bottom surfaces simultaneously with 100% uniformity. Each square inch of each part is processed exactly the way it was intended over the entire width of the machine.
The principle of a centrifugal barrel tumbler is similar to that of a Ferris wheel. Smaller baskets are mounted along the edges and sides of large wheels. The centrifugal finishing system or harperizing machine has four barrels. Each barrel represents a seat on a Ferris Wheel and one large flywheel. Each revolution of the flywheel causes one barrel to turn. The flywheel's speed generates high centrifugal forces that can exceed 15 to 20 times the force gravity. This causes the contents to slide against one another under high pressure. The increased pressure allows metal parts to be processed quickly and can also ensure consistent, smooth finishes.
The polishing step is usually done dry using ground-up corncob as media and embedded polishing compound. For dry processing, ground-up walnut shells can be used.
Machines in the 2000-Series are designed to handle heavier production demands. They are designed to handle such applications as deburring, slag grinding, calibrating/dimensioning, edge radiusing, paint/surface preparation, finishing/polishing or a combination of these applications.
The correct tumbling media is critical for centrifugal bar finishing. The wrong media and particularly the wrong geometries can make it twice as long to finish a part. When appropriate, cones or cylindricals are used for tumbling media. This can dramatically slow down processing times.
Speed and versatility are the hallmarks of Gulf States Saw & Machinery Co., Inc. bookletmakers and finishing systems. Our Sprint series models enjoy a solid reputation in the print finishing industry for performance and dependability. The revolutionary SF2 bookletmaker utilizes wire-fed stitching technology previously found only in larger systems costing up to three times more.
At Gulf States Saw & Machinery Co., Inc., we offer top-quality abrasive finishing solutions to meet our customers’ individual application and material requirements. Our machines complete various tasks depending on the application, including deburring, slag grinding, edge rounding, calibrating, and finishing. Among other metal finishing machines, we offer dry metal machines, which function in many applications and provide numerous benefits.
