Just as with the other series from Proper records, this one features the finest in classic popular music from, roughly, 1920 - 1955. While jazz is, rightly, in the forefront of the selections in this line, there is plenty more. Most noteworthy is the special focus on classic blues and early R & B: check it out, we're confident that you'll be duly impressed. There's also a generous selection of male and (especially) female vocalists. In addition there's plenty of fabulous early country and western, bluegrass, and more -- even classical!
