2. Railings along first and third base lines: If thrown or batted ball bounces off railing and stays in playing
surface, it is in play. If ball bounces over railing and into the stands, it is dead.
3. Tarp: If ball bounces off tarp, it is in play. If ball lodges in tarp, it is dead.
4. Bullpens: Balls hit into bullpens are in play.
5. Outfield Wall: Any batted ball landing above the yellow line is a home run. Any batted ball hitting
off the yellow line and caroming over the wall is a home run. If a ball hits off the yellow line and
bounces back into play, it remains in play.

Dozer Park - Peoria, IL
1. Railings along first and third baselines: If thrown or batted ball bounces off railing and stays in playing
surface, it is in play. If ball bounces over railing and into the stands, it is dead.
2. Tarp: If ball bounces off tarp, it is in play. If ball lodges in tarp, it is dead.
3. A batted or thrown ball lodging in field or bullpen tarp or in cylinder is dead.
4. A batted ball that enters the centerfield Ivy and bounces out or can be seen is still in play.
A ball that becomes lodged in the Ivy and sticks in the vines is a ground rule double.
5. Bullpens: Balls hit into bullpens are in play.
6. Left and right field foul lines: Any batted ball that hits any part of the foul pole screen is a home run.
Any batted ball that clears the yellow break line on the wall padding is a home run.
7. Outfield wall: Any batted ball that hits the recessed railing located behind the left or right field outfield
wall is a home run.
8. Batter’s eye: Any batted ball that clears the yellow break line is a home run.
9. No break in the backstop net.
10. The camera pits located in the dugouts are dead.

1. Tarp: A ball bouncing off tarp is in play. A ball lodging in or behind tarp is dead.
2. Bullpens: Balls hit into the bullpen are in play.
3. Dugout railings: If the ball hits railing and bounces back to playing area, it is in play. If ball enters the
dugout area, it is dead.
4. Center field: If ball hits any part of the batter’s eye above the yellow line or the railing at the top of
the wall, it is a home run.
5. Outfield pads: If ball lodges between or under a pad, it is dead.
6. Backstop pads: If ball lodges between or under a pad, it is dead.
7. Left field foul fence: If ball rolls under the left field fence down the line, it is dead.
8. Foul Poles: If ball hits any part of the foul pole, it is a home run.
9. Right field ribbon board: If ball lodges between, behind or under pads, it is dead.
10. Outfield Tri-vision signs: If ball lodges in signs it is dead.
SOUTH BEND CUBS
Four Winds Field - South Bend, IN
1. Ball lodged in, on or behind backstop is a dead ball.
2. Dugouts: Netting on rails in front of both dugouts is live. If a ball bounces off netting and lands in
playing area, ball is live. Netting behind dugouts is dead. If a ball hits netting and drops into the
dugout, ball is dead. Any ball that hits directly over the dugout is dead. The top step of either
dugout opening is in play, any other area past top step is dead. No throws allowed from the dugout.
