BRAD PURKEY ("Earl 'Brother Boy' Ingram") is the proud winner of eight Mary Jane Teall Awards for directing, sound design, and lighting design, as well as for Best Actor ("Elyot" in Private Lives and "Algernon" in The Importance of Being Earnest) and Best Supporting Actor ("Bosie" in Gross Indecency), all for Wichita Community Theatre. Other favorite roles include "Miss Deep South" in Pageant at Cabaret Oldtown, as well as "Jeffrey" in Jeffrey, "Ramon" in Love! Valour! Compassion!, and "Mercutio" in Romeo and Juliet (all at WCT). |
