15.1 Positioning objects

Thoughtful positioning of your object on the build plate can improve print speed and quality:

1.
For faster print completion, position objects towards the edge of the Polar3D printer build plate.
2.
But don’t position the objects over the edge of the build plate! Enabling the build plate “UI SETTINGS” control Always show selected object’s bounding box” will provide visual reassurance that an object’s position is okay, rather than too close to (or over) the build plate edge.
3.
Print multiple small objects at once; this can actually improve the quality of objects (as well as production speed).
4.
Avoid straight-line extrusion runs through the center of the Polar3D printer build plate.
