6.4.2 Doodle3D Transform objects saved to the Polar Cloud

If you have a license or subscription to use Doodle3D Transform, then you can export objects as .stl files or OBJ files, which you may later choose to upload into the Polar Cloud.17

Alternatively, for licensed or subscription users, Doodle3D Transform also supports exporting directly to the Polar Cloud: after clicking the export icon (at the upper right of the Doodle3D Transform object screen), see Figure 6.65, select the Polar3D button, see Figure 6.66.

When you export an object from Doodle3D Transform directly to the Polar Cloud, the object will be loaded directly onto the Polar Cloud build plate in a new window; see Figure 6.68.18

The object will also automatically be placed in your “MY OBJECTS” collection; see Figure 6.69.

Note the Doodle3D Transform logo at the lower right in the giantnoodlebot with pilot object tile in Figure 6.69; objects exported from Doodle3D Tranform directly to the Polar Cloud will include such a logo, which is a live link back to Doodle3D Transform.

17Doodle3D Transform permits only limited use for free; unpaid use does not include any access to object export.

18Note that this particular Doodle3D object’s original scale is rather large; it would need to have its “SCALE” decreased to fit properly on the printer’s actual physical build plate.
