Optionally, you may customize your class group by adding a profile image, to be displayed whenever your class group is listed in a Polar Cloud group list (visible under the “MY GROUPS” list display to you and your student members of the group; only visible to non-group members under “PUBLIC GROUPS” if you set your group to “MODERATED” type). To add a profile image, go to the group’s “SETTINGS” screen and click the “PROFILE” button. At the “GROUP PHOTO” pop-up screen, select the desired image to upload from your device.
Optionally, you may customize your class group by changing the (randomly selected) banner image. The banner image is displayed at the group screen to group members (and if you set your group to “MODERATED” type, also visible to non-members who view a “SUMMARY” of your group); furthermore, in the absence of a profile image for your group, a portion of the group’s banner image is used as the profile image. To add a banner image to your class group, go to the group’s “SETTINGS” screen and click the “BANNER” button. At the “GROUP BANNER” pop-up screen, select the desired image to upload from your device.
