Captain Jack was an amazing man. He was extremely educated. He helped us choose the most important thing and we chose dolphin sightings for the bulk of our time.
A variety of starfishes, sanddollars bay scallops, whelks conchs upto 21 inches long, seahorses urchins and hermit crabs among other crab species are common species that we see. These animals are easy to bring to the surface. They can also be photographed. We use large containers to allow snorkelers and non-snorkelers to see the animals up close before they are released back into the bay. You can also take any shells you find that have not been inhabited by living creatures home.
Dolphins are often regarded as friendly but they are wild animals that should be respected and treated with caution. Dolphin behavior can be affected by interactions with humans. They are easy targets for shark attack and vandalism because they lose their natural wariness.
4. Wear only a bathing suit. You should only wear a swimsuit. Dolphins are very sensitive and will touch you during your interaction.
Which is the best season to see dolphins Florida? It is possible to see the most dolphins between late May and early August. They're most active between 10 a.m. to noon, and again between 2 p.m. and dark.
