Dolphins are an aquatic mammal that can be found all over the globe. The bottlenose dolphin is Florida's most popular dolphin. Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC is famous for its iconic grey dolphin. Americans have been seeing dolphins performing tricks for fish for many years at different marine attractions across the country. In recent years, however, there have been more protections for wild dolphins.
Dolphin Tours: 8:30 am - Run every two hours 10:30-12:30, 1pm-3:00pm, 3:30pm-5.30pm, 6pm-8pm (Sunset Tour).
Locals and tourists alike enjoy dolphin tours in Panama City Beach. We make it our top priority to make sure the dolphins are not disturbed while they go about their day. We are familiar with the locations where schools of dolphins congregate. We'll take our guests all over the Gulf of Mexico so you can view these majestic dolphins in their natural habitat.
Starfish, bay scallops (with sand dollars), whelks, starfish up to 21 inches in length, conchs with a maximum length of 21 inches, seahorses, urchins, hermit crabs, and other crab species are some of the species we often see. These animals can easily be brought to the surface, photographed, and handled with care. So that anyone can view them, even those who are not snorkers, we bring large containers. Any shells found with no living creatures can be taken home.
We do need to note that dolphins are wild animals. Although we know all the places they’re likely to be, very rarely the dolphins evade us. You can touch the dolphin's bellies and hold on to their pectoral fins while they swim around the lagoon. This is called "Belly Ride". The "Foot Push" is the last activity. However, you will be pushed while riding a boogieboard.
Shell island beach was visited twice by us. The first time we paid $7.50 to park on the "island". We drove a bit further along the coast to Llanddwywe, where we found a public parking lot. It is a beautiful, clean beach.
It takes twenty minutes. The ride up to the island takes twenty minutes. Seabirds are also common on the trip to Shell Key via the green ferryboat.
