TELEVISION
As for telephones, I think they're
a load of rubbish, you can't hear
them half the time, you have to
keep turning the sound up and down
to find out whether you can hear
the damn things. Then they don't
ring because you turned it down,
accidentally. You don't have
private conversations in a train
carriage, you speak to four people
down the road!
CASH REGISTER
Everybody else is on the phone!
TELEVISION
You can hear what everybody else
is saying. It was alright when you
just dialled somebody up.
