The Drunkest Santa Moments

When you're as blitzed as this Santa is, you don't want to endanger Blitzen and the rest of the reindeer by stepping behind the wheel of your sleigh. Do sleighs have wheels? I'm not really sure. Anyways, this Claus decided to drive home after a very jolly night out, only to get pulled over by the po-po. Needless to say, they're not getting anything in their stocking this year. Easily one of the drunkest Santa Claus moments ever.

Probably the most legendary screen portrayal of a boozed-up Claus is Billy Bob Thornton's classic Bad Santa. As a down on his luck mall Kris Kringle who robs his employers at the end of every season, Thornton tosses back Herculean amounts of hooch to get through the day. Of course, even the biggest drinker can't survive that without engaging in some bad behavior, and when Santa loses it it's quite a sight to see. One of the best drunk Santa moments ever.

Traditionally, Santa has come down the chimney to deliver gifts to all the good little boys and girls. But sometimes he gets so blasted that he decides to take an alternate route - say from the roof of a garage down onto a Chevy Suburban. Needless to say, this great plan didn't work out so well, as Kringle went back to the North Pole with multiple bruises and a dislocated hip.

No cultural icon is safe from the ravaging cancer of Family Guy, so it's not surprising that the show's Christmas episode depicts good ol' Santa Claus as an irresponsible drunken driver who crashes his poor reindeer right into a house in a bloody mess of violence, then has to explain himself to the cops. Needless to say, it doesn't go so well for him. Oh well, we always have Kwanzaa.
