Conspiracy Theory Websites

The Internet is a bounty for conspiracy lovers, as it gives a platform for crazies the world over to share their insane ideas with the rest of us. These conspiracy theory websites go above and beyond - prepare to get your mind rocked.

It seems like as long as there has been an Internet, there has been bizarre, conspiracy theory websites. From the early days of GeoCities to the modern era, brave lunatics have been exposing the hidden forces at play underneath our feet. The hallmarks of a great conspiracy website are simple: tons of pages, each of which repeats information you've already seen over and over to make it more true, images that seem to have little or nothing to do with the subject at hand and, of course, embedded audio files. In this feature, we'll present the most balls-out crazy conspiracy theory websites on the Internet. Once you go in, you might never come back.

Future Visionaries

Some conspiracy theorists believe that the entire world is a big stage show, put on to buffalo the unsuspecting public into buying a bill of goods for unknown reasons. Then, there's Kent G. Anderson, the man behind Future Visionaries, who just thinks that it's Pep Boys. Kent's conspiracy theory website horror started in 2000 when he attempted to trademark the word "Future." For everything. Unfortunately for him, that didn't work out so well, and now he's on a one-man crusade against anyone who uses the word or a derivation thereof. Oh, and he also patented an inside-out pizza.

David Icke

David Icke is one of the most famous conspiracy theorists out there right now, and he's been at it for decades. The English writer is the leading proponent of a conspiracy theory website that states the governments of the world are under the control of a race of shape-shifting "reptoids" from the Draco constellation. These advanced aliens developed humans to serve as breeding stock in ancient times, and the Moon is actually a spacecraft from where they broadcast their mind-control rays. Using photoshop filters, Icke and his disciples "prove" that many famous people are actually lizards. It's quite the trip.

Freemasonry Watch

One of the longest-lived conspiracy theory websites in the world involves the Freemasons - on the surface, a group of dudes like the Kiwanis Club or the Rotary but, underneath, a wretched hive of Satanist scum and villainy that controls the world. These speculations have gone on for centuries, not helped by the group's notorious secrecy. While some people just think that the Masonic Hall is the back room where deals get made, others think the group is involved in more than that, planting subliminal messages in popular entertainment to mold the brains of consumers for nefarious purposes.

Key Of Solomon

The books of Dan Brown have served as a pop introduction to Catholic religious conspiracies - most famously, The Da Vinci Code. While Brown himself will tell you that all of the mystery that he writes about is hokum, some people don't believe him. Take Wayne Herschel. This South African chuckle head is convinced that there is actually incredibly complex symbolism behind things we take for granted, from the layout of Washington D.C. to the Great Pyramids, are communicated by aliens as a means of giving us directions to their houses. Why? God only knows, but Herschel's convinced.

The Vigilant Citizen

We're back in the murky world of mind control again with The Vigilant Citizen. One of the most common conspiracy theory websites states that nothing is done by chance - everything you see in the media has been encoded to penetrate deep into your brain and mold your mind to accept the messages of whatever evil overlords run this backwater planet. At this site, they obsessively comb magazines and TV to prove to you that if a fashion model is covering her eye, she is actually transmitting dark symbolic texts that only they understand.
