True Blood: Where Do We Go From Here?

The possible return of Reverend Newlin and the Fellowship of the Sun, episode titles revealed and more news out of Bon Temps.

It's anyone's guess what dark cornors of Bon Temps Alan Ball and his gothic circus will head to next.  We can't say for sure, but IMDB has released season three's episode tiles. Episodes four through 12 are entitled "9 Crimes," "Trouble," "I Got a Right to Sing the Blues," "Hit the Floor," "Night on the Sun," "Everything is Broken," "I Smell a Rat," "Episode #3.11," and "Evil is Going On."

The most intriguing title may be the last one, "Evil is Going On." We imagine it has something to do with what Alan Ball recently told Ausiello: a big secret Bill has “been carrying with him gets revealed at the end of the season." Interesting...

Other clues about what these titles could mean come from the book series, The Southern Vampire Mysteries. There is no guarantee that the third season will stay true to the third book, but here are some possible parallel plots, gleaned from Ambivalentman at SpoilerTV.

Apparently in the third book, called Club Dead, Sookie is attacked by Alcide's enraged ex, Debbie Pelt, who we already know is being played by Brit Morgan.

Furthermore, with Eric's help, Sookie succeeds in rescuing Bill from King Russell Edgington, killing Lorena, Bill's maker, in the process. This seem likely if, of course, she isn't already dead. Last time we saw her, she looked like she was being engulfed in flames after Bill threw an oil lamp on her.

Finally, in the book, the Fellowship of the Sun returns with Reverend Newlin seeking revenge! We hope this storyline makes it to the TV series as Reverend Newlin and his crazy zealots delivered excellent performances in Season Two.

Newlin or not, we can't wait for the mysteries of True Blood to unfold.
