TV's Biggest Morons

It's hard to imagine a more idiotic TV personality than Donald Trump. There may be dumber people on TV, but not on his scale. This guy nearly became a presidential nominee in real life despite having no grasp on foreign policy, complex economics, or human empathy. Meanwhile, he hosts a show about firing people during a near depression. Obviously, it's nice to have a place on television where you can see Gary Busey get in a fight with Meatloaf, but Trump's not really as necessary a part of that equation as he may think.

It takes a special kind of oblivious for the Miami Police Department to have gone this long without realizing their resident blood splatter expert is actually offing people all over the place, but for his own sister to not know is ridiculous, especially when her dad trained Dexter to kill when they were both kids. She must have been standing all alone in the back yard eating ice cream or something while they went through drills in the basement.

This season even added a little adopted-incest (which isn't as bad as the real thing, but c'mon) to her repertoire. You don't have to be a moron to fall in love with your brother. You just have to be a television character on an increasingly hard to swallow drama. Few characters have been as frustratingly moronic as Deb. And now that she knows Dexter's big secret, you can bet her reaction will be slightly less than smart.

Chang may be evil, but he's also really, really stupid, and the Community universe rarely misses an opportunity to reign misery upon him for it. The first season saw him lose his job, the only thing he had that adhered to his false sense of superiority. Season two focused with something close to sympathy on the pathetic mess of a life left him at the end of Season one. Season three brings us the return of evil, cartoony Chang as he takes a campus security guard position and gets into all kind of crazy sitcom hijinks. 

What will come of Chang's future - if he or anyone else on that show are granted a future - remains to be seen, but it's doubtful he's going to grow a big brain in the meantime.

When other countries look at America, they see Snooki. If that thought doesn't fill you with dread, it's probably because you're already used to looking bad on the global stage. Ted Nugent's been out there for decades, after all.

The worst thing about Snooki is the notion that girls watching at home might see her as someone to emulate. There haven't been enough seasons of Jersey Shore yet to see how people who live like Snooki end up in the long run, but a couple episodes of Dog the Bounty Hunter might give you some idea. She's one of TV's most obvious morons.
