Trueblood returns from the grave next month, and we're treated today with two warm, fresh kills in the form of a new teaser traile, and a behind-the-scenes Season Two preview. First, dig on the trailer, complete with Bob Dylan's appropriate, "Beyond Here Lies Nothing," natch. Go head, I'll wait...

Eh? Ehhh??? Whadya think? I'm into it. There's plenty of fang-banging, southern sinful religious overtones, a bit of the old ultra-violence and plenty of vamps hissing like cats. Excellent stuff. After the jump....the Season Two Trailer!

So, the preview is chalk full of great stuff we can infer about this year. For starters, it looks like all the major characters are back except for Lafeyette, which is a shame because he was easily the biggest scene-stealer last year. There's also plenty of new comers...

Michelle Forbes, who played stonecold Admiral Kane on BSG, returns as "Maryann." If you remember, we're not really sure who this etheral beeotch is, but we were introduced to her standing next to a giant hog, nekkid, on the side of the highway. Series Creator (and fellow Seminole) Alan Ball only says, "Maryann is not human." Duhs. If she's not the devil, I'm a shapeshifting labradoodle.

On to the newbies. Debra Ann Woll is back, this time as a regular, playing "Jessica". Bill was forced to make this teenager into a vamp, and now she's a burden around his oldass neck. Mariana Klavenko plays "Lorena," the diabolical banshee who originally turned Bill into an undead during the Civil War. Michael McMillian will also have a more prominent role as "Steve Newlin," one of the leaders of Jason Stackhouse's new Fellowship of the Sun Church. And finally, Ashley Jones stars as the new Merlot's waitress, "Daphne," who "has a crush on Sam." No doubt there's more to her than that.

There ya have it. Good stuff, yeah? I can't wait for the June 14 preimiere. Oh, and one last thing we learned from these vids...Ryan Kwanten and Stephen Moyer are ENGLISH? What the hell, man, that freaks me out. See you guys in June.
