True Blood: What's the Deal with Sam's Younger Brother?

The word on how long Tommy will be around and what he's up to in Bon Temps.

Marshall Allman, who arrived Bon Temps as Sam's pain-in-the-ass little brother Tommy, recently told E! Online that Sam's not getting rid of him anytime soon. He's here to stay - in Bon Temps, that is. We've learned that he'll be around well into the "shocking" season finale.

So aside from a likely stint at Merlotte's, what will this shape-shifting youngster be up to in vamp land?

"I go in and have a lot of fun," Allman said. "There's not an impulse that I don't act on. I'm tons of fun." Well that all sounds innocent enough. Wait... " And then I'll take your wallet, [and] I'll also steal your girl." Uh oh.

Despite all his theft, Allman insisted on giving his character a chance. "People will see that I have a heart, but they're just going to be frustrated that I'm not being who I was meant to be," he said. At least he has a heart, unlike last season's maenad Marryann, who feasted on them.

"I suffered a lot of dysfunction, and I just need a lot of love," Allman added.  We're awfully curious who will be giving him this love. Jessica perhaps?

We'll forgive the stealing; we're looking forward to the development of this interesting, new character.
