Here's some video from the set of Sci-Fi's new Gate-iteration: Stargate: Universe. The look and feel of this one is eerly familiar ::coughbattlestarcough::, with scenes of panicked humanity huddled on spaceships. And the cast is undoubtedly the stewards of said populace, ferrying them "home," according to one famous cast member.
"SG:U is a story about survival more than anything else," says Robert Carlyle, who plays Dr. Nicholas Rush.
And for those of you needing your Lou Diamond Phillips fix, LDP is front and center: "These are real stories, with real people and real concerns."
Real concerns. Except, you know, for that whole interstallar escalator thing. Stargate:Universe is out sometime this fall.
