Stargate Atlantis Has Been Canceled

Stargate Atlantis, Sci Fi Channel's spin-off of Stargate SG-1, has been canceled. The show will finish out its fifth season in January, but it won't be gone for good -- like SG-1, there will be straight-to-DVD movies, with the first one set to air on the Sci-Fi channel sometime next year. Stargate SG-1 ran for ten seasons before ending last year; two movies have been released thus far.
