Silent Hill Star Returns to Horror Roots in The Walking Dead

Casting news on Frank Darabont's AMC adaptation of The Walking Dead continues to trickle in, now with word that Silent Hill and The Shield star Laurie Holden will be taking on the role of "Andrea," who joins the group of survivors along with her sister.  Also signing on for the highly anticipated zombie drama is Steven Yeun, an mostly unknown actor who caught a break with the AMC drama.  Yeun will play Glenn, a fellow survivor who acts as a supply scout for the band led by cop, Rick Grimes.  The new series, which like The Prisoner, marks a decided turn into genre territory for AMC, is set to premiere in October.
