Rubicon: Classified Documents Arrive at Our Doorstep

AMC is pushing out all the stops for their new show Rubicon, and we've got a look at some of the secrets the show holds.

Late last night, a shadowy man approached me in a dark alley. “Did you know there’s a fourth branch of the government?” he asked. I didn’t know how to reply, so I just said, “Yeah, I’ve seen the first episode of AMC’s Rubicon, too.” The man opened a cracked, broken smile, stubbed out his cigarette, and handed me a packet. “Keep this safe,” he said, and walked back into the shadows.

When I got, home, I carefully opened up the package, and much to my surprise, it turned out to be a treasure trove of information about the conspiracy thriller, premiering on AMC on August 1st (though you can watch it online right now). I’m sure this post will be pulled by the government soon, but for now, check out some spy shots I was able to snap of the contents of the pack:

In all seriousness, I got to do a set visit to Rubicon (which I’ll be posting about closer to the premiere of the show), and the press people were super psyched about their packet – I can see why. Rather than the typical one sheet and hi-res photos, this is a fun way to get the word out about the show – and I’m sure some sort of launch to a viral game, though I’m awful about that stuff, so I’ll leave it to more patient ARG players than myself.

What do you think, TV fans – after the sneak peak, are you looking forward to AMC’s trip down conspiracy lane?
