Rescue Me Returns Tonight, Sort Of

With the strike pushing the premiere of Rescue Me's fifth season into April 2009, it'll be a long time before fans see any new content from their favorite show, right? Wrong! FX is trying to douse the flames of their desire with ten minisodes of the show airing every Tuesday at 10 this summer, starting tonight. The minisodes will feature small, five-minute-long vignettes that series co-creator and star Denis Leary says will probably be put into one regular-sized special episode that will air upon the minisodes' conclusion.
