Sons of Anarchy rides back on to FX for Season 4 tonight bigger
and better than ever, with a full 90-minute season
premiere. The SAMCRO boys have been in
prison for a full fourteen months, and season premiere "Out" starts
appropriately with the Charming Sons triumphantly making their way out of
prison for parole.
Getting out of prison for the Sons of Anarchy was the easy
part, however, as the boys will return to a very different Charming, full of new
characters and obstacles for the club. Prison Break alumni Rockmond Dunbar sets out to make the Sons' fourth
season rough terrain as the new, no nonsense, Charming Sheriff, Eli
Roosevelt.
If that doesn't give you enough reasons to watch Sons of
Anarchy Season 4, how about Machete himself, Danny Trejo? Or the
legendary David Hasslehoff? The Sons are

| 11 | Jax's New Haircut |
More than just an arbitrary fashion statement, this season Jax sheds his luscious locks for a clean-cut look while behind the walls of prison. When asked about the change at Comic-Con, Charlie Hunnam explained that as an actor he was excited to tell the story of a man getting out of prison. In his research he discovered that some prisons actually enforce regulations about hair length, and Hunnam also wished to show Jax living a little more primitively considering his psychological state.
Don't worry, it'll grow back, and it's one of the reasons to watch Sons of Anarchy Season 4.
| 10 | Danny Trejo |
Name one thing in all of existence that hasn't been greatly improved by the addition of Danny Trejo. You can't do it! Thus, he is one of the reasons to watch Sons of Anarchy Season 4.
Trejo will take on the role of Romero 'Romeo' Parada, a "charismatic and (duh) dangerous former commando for the Mexican military who becomes a new associate of the SONS," as Kurt Sutter explained at Comic-Con. He went on to say that the Russians would be back as antagonists for the Sons, but the focus is the club's new relationship with Mexican organized crime.

While Tara's had them in her possession for the past fourteen months, expect John Teller's letters to Maureen Ashby to hang over Season 4 in a big way. Katey Sagal claims that more of John Teller's history in Ireland will be fleshed out, which could "splinter" the group.
It certainly drives a wedge between Gemma and Tara, the former of which isn't too comfortable with Tara knowing the family history... did someone say leather-clad cat fight? One of the promising reasons to watch Sons of Anarchy Season 4, no doubt.

We all know how terrifyingly badass Ron Perlman can be as Clay Morrow, and there's no telling what the SAMCRO president might do under pressure. After prison Clay's goal is to get the club up and running again, but his days may be numbered as his arthritis advances and the club becomes more interested in money than brotherhood.
Let's be honest, do you think Clay's the type to gracefully step down? We're even more curious to what could drive a wedge between him and Gemma. Another one of the promising reasons to watch Sons of Anarchy Season 4.

There is literally a new sheriff in town this season, as Rockmund Dunbar takes over the role of Charming's law enforcement as Sheriff Eli Roosevelt. Roosevelt certainly doesn't share the affections of his predecessors when it comes to SAMCRO, as TVGuide describes him as a "formidable, confident and forthright lawman who makes it clear to Jax, and the rest of the club, that things have changed during their 14 months in prison."
Trust us, this relationship's going to get ugly fast, and it's one of the reasons to watch Sons of Anarchy Season 4
