Apocalypse How?: Alien Invasion!
Sunday, June 19th sees the debut of TNT's new Spielberg-produced invasion series Falling Skies, which unlike most Alien TV series opens up in the aftermath of the invading species having already won the war. We've seen the first few episodes of this apocalyptic TV series, and trust us, you'll want to check this series out before the skies fall and we're all imprisoned by the "Skitters."
Plus, Moon Bloodgood! And that has made all the difference.
24 | Jericho |
Apocalypse How?: Nuclear devastation!
In the wake of devastating nuclear attacks on 23 American cities, Jericho, Kansas becomes a fringe town for survivors, who must defend from other factions looking to re-establish government in America and launching civil wars to keep order. But more devastating was that CBS nuked this apocalyptic TV series twice, and the best Skeet Ulrich has done since was Law and Order: LA. Yeesh.
23 | The Walking Dead |
Apocalypse How?: Zombies!
There's nothing like a good-old-fashioned zombie apocalypse, especially when it never ends! On TV as it is in comics, The Walking Dead's reign of terror shall never end as one by one survivors fall and hardship befalls the Grimes family. But with some of the deviations we've seen on The Walking Dead's live-action adaptation, could an answer to roamer-fication be in the cards? Tune in this fall to find out!
22 | Cleopatra 2525 |
Apocalypse How?: Flying Robots!
In the year 2525, three women keep hope alive! Forced underground by armed flying robots known as "Baileys," Cleopatra 2525 (featuring early Gina Torres!) taught us that no matter how gloomy the future may seem, beautiful women will still kick ass in skimpy, and wildly impractical outfits.
And in the end, isn't that all that mankind needs to survive?

Apocalypse How?: Kandorion rule under Zod!
Utilizing the Watchmen set, Smallville took us months into the future wherein a red sun granted power to the Kandorian army, but left poor Clark helpless to you guessed it, kneel before Zod. The bad future was quickly averted, but of course those krazy Kandorians managed to power themselves up anyway and take over the Earth, by, you know...carving symbols into it.
