Make it so.

Captain Picard will be trading in his Starfleet uniform for whatever crazy outfit a Timelord called the Meddling Monk wears, as he's in talks to play the character for two episodes in the next season of Doctor Who, according to British newspaper/tabloid The Sun. Patrick Stewart recently starred alongside current Doctor David Tennant in Hamlet this summer and has spoken about being a fan of the show and disappointed he'd never been asked to appear on it. Now it seems that wrong has been righted. Stewart's character, The Meddling Monk, hasn't been seen on the show since the beginning of its original run -- in the 60s. That's because the new Doctor Who isn't very good at creating new villainous aliens and characters and keeps having to resurrect the classic old ones. So you can expect to see some Daleks in Patrick Stewart's two-episode appearance. As for when you can expect to see it on these shores, it won't be shown in England until early next year so I'd say sometime next summer.
