If you've ever watched a foreign film with subtitles and actually understood the native language, you are then familiar with how things get lost in translation. Simplifying translations as well as culturual differences will make a story, phrase, or even word have a completely different meaning. So what exactly does Japan think of our good ole American comic book heroes like Iron Man and Wolverine?
Apparently they love Iron Man just about exactly as he looks, but they really don't care much for our Logan. Why do I say that? Well above you have the teaser trailer for Marvel Anime Iron Man and below is Marvel Anime Wolverine. Tony Stark's armor looks identical to what we've come to know, but besides having some claws, this is an all new all diferent not-so giant sized issue of Wolverine. Check them out both and come to your own conclusions. I'm actually really looking forward to seeing Iron Man. Wolverine I'm not so sure about yet.
