All hail the King of Westeros!  The wait for the April 17th premiere of HBO's Game of Thrones grows ever shorter, as HBO continues preparing audiences by releasing individual character featurettes of the fantasy series' major players.

Up tenth is Mark Addy as King Robert Baratheon, Lord of Westeros, husband to Queen Cersei and close friend of Ned Stark, having conquered the crown with his best (and fittest) years behind him as the land's debt grows, and a fateful hunting trip marks an uncertain future for the realm...

The series, once again premiering on HBO Sunday April 17th stars Sean Bean as Ned Stark, and boasts an otherwise impressive cast comprised of Addy, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey as Queen Cersei, and a host of others all vying for the iron throne of the fictional Westeros.

Game of Thrones closely follows the storyline laid out in George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" and even developed its own complex version of the Dothraki language for the project.

Check out Mark Addy discussing the role of King Robert Baratheon below, and after you're done head over to The Maester's Path for "an interactive journey into the world of Game of Thrones, where players can vie to become 'maesters' -- the healers, teachers and advisers of this world. Maesters wear chains as a symbol of their learning, each link representing one discipline. Players at TheMaestersPath.com earn 'links' in their chains by completing a series of online challenges."
