Fall TV Animation Preview

Fall TV animation brings plenty new to the drawing board this year, and UGO guides you through the animated series you'll want to watch throughout 2011.

Fall TV is right around the corner, and you know what that means! Let the grown-ups have their serialized dramas and hardcore epics, we can't wait to preview the latest in animation from our favorite cartoons! It's been all summer since we've had any decently animated funny or awesome, and fall TV's about to make Christmas come early for cartoon fans.

The greatest part about our favorite fall TV animation is that kids and adults alike can enjoy the shows, including new animated series and returning favorites. In addition to our fall TV animation preview, we've also created a handy guide to kids' shows for adults, to show that all ages can equally enjoy animated shows.

FOX Sundays will be overloaded with animation as usual this year, with returning favorites The Simpsons and Seth MacFarlane's monster lineup of Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show. Funnyman Jonah Hill's Allen Gregory debuts on FOX this fall, but there are plenty of other series new and old on Cartoon Network, Disney XD and Adult Swim to get excited about. You can always check out our coverage of the shows at San Diego Comic-Con 2011 for a sneak preview of what to expect!

We've got your in-depth fall TV preview to the animated series you need to see, including their premiere dates! Did we miss any animation you're eagerly waiting to see this fall? Draw up your thoughts in the comments section below!

Adult Swim

Premiere: Fall 2011

It seems like Adult Swim will cruelly make its fans wait until 2012 for the return of some of their favorite series, including The Venture Bros, Metalocalypse, and Mary Shelley's Frankenhole. Not only that, but many new series won't hold their premieres until next year, chief among our interests the new animated adaptation of Black Dynamite!

So what can the fall of 2011 offer?  Why, how about the second half of Robot Chicken's fifth season, premiering on Oct. 23?
